“It’s not the load that breaks you down; it’s the way you carry it.”
~ Lou Holtz

My family loves Notre Dame football.  Well, truth be told, Notre Dame anything.  A number of years ago, we heard legendary football coach, Lou Holtz, speak.  He was terrific!  One of my favorite quotes from Lou is, “It’s not the load that breaks you down; it’s the way you carry it.”

How true!!  We are all carrying extra loads right now.  So, think about how you are carrying yours.

Another favorite story is about the professor who did an experiment with his students and a glass of water.  Each student was asked to hold a glass of water with their arm straight out for as long as they could.  Most held it for a short period of time before fatigue set in.  The professor then suggested they hold it closer to their body, or ask a friend for help holding it, or to even put the glass down.  Voila!  Much easier to hold, or to just let the glass go.  The moral of the story?  Lou’s quote….

I have a lot of resources for helping all of us carry our loads.  Do you need help carrying a personal load?

Perhaps you could use help with money – and how to handle it?  Or, how, when and why to invest your funds?  Do you want to have your personal or business insurance reviewed?  Insurance and financial matters can be heavy loads!  You might need to have some legal help, a review or generation of documents.  I have an arsenal of trusted individuals who can help you carry your load.
